Baseret på ESU's afprøvede Lokpilot 5-dekoder, er denne 6-pins version skræddersyet til at passe ind i den begrænsede plads, der er tilgængelig i vores Andrew Barclay og SECR P Class Lokomotiver, mens den stadig giver dig den maksimale DCC-funktionalitet.

LokPilot 5-dekoderen kan bruges på analoge DC- og AC-jernbaner. Dekoderen skifter fuldautomatisk mellem driftstilstandene "on-the-fly". Normalt skal der ikke indstilles noget.

Motorstyringen af LokPilot 5 er blevet fundamentalt forbedret igen. En variabelt justerbar PWM clock-frekvens fra 10kHz til 50kHz sikrer super støjsvag drift, især med klokke-armaturmotorer - det typiske "brum" hører fortiden til. Belastningskontrollen kan nu tilpasses svære sager med op til 10 CV'er. Den unikke "Autotune"-funktion gør det muligt at kalibrere dekoderen automatisk til motoren. Med op til 1,5A motorstrøm giver LokPilot 5-dekoderen nok juice selv til ældre motorer.

Great addition so I can use my purchase which was non DCC fitted
Gives smooth reliable control for the right price.
For my first P I bought the the 'same" decoder but from a store local to me., for my second I bought from Accurascale and they do perform differently. The one from accurascale seems to have a more odorous prototypical speed. Well done Accurascale!
Ready to fit and a fairly easy way to convert your P Class to DCC. No settings to adjust unless you need to change the address.
The decoder does everything I need it to do.

This decoder is a great fit for the p class from accurascale very smooth running of the locomotive very easy to fit. Very happy with it.
This review is in response to my initial review of the Andrew Barclay and the difficulties of installing a DCC decoder. Andrew of Accurascale responded to that review and promptly restocked this decoder. The outstanding customer support he provided has led to my ability to run this loco in the way that it was designed to do. It is an outstanding performer.
This decoder not only fits with room to spare, but also provides solder points to enable additional features. I added a TCS KA-N1 stay alive, which is small enough to fit below the decoder and may also add lighting features to the available auxiliary pads. It runs the loco smoothly.
The size of this decoder makes it easier to install into the Andrew Barclay (AB) without too much fuss. The interferences on the AB make it too precarious to have to try to fight a decoder in, as I was doing. This time, there were no issues (experience helped too!).
Decoder was easy to fit into socket and works well.
They work fine and do the job
Decoder very easy to fit once the body removed and the change of code from the standard 003 was done without issue. However, the engine does not run very well, indeed it is substandard The decoder is perhaps not the problem but the situation as it has presented itself not ideal.
