Der 37422, der 2011 im Rahmen des Massentransfers der Klasse 37/4 von DB Schenker an Direct Rail Services erworben wurde, ist einzigartig unter den mit ETS ausgestatteten EEs, da er in der dunkelblauen Lackierung des Unternehmens neu lackiert wurde, aber nie Eigentum erhalten hat Branding. Für den DRS-Service in den Glasgow Works von Railcare überarbeitet und letzte Reparaturarbeiten in Barrow Hill durchgeführt, sah es lange Zeit so aus, als würden die Reparaturen nie abgeschlossen werden. Gegen Ende 2015, als die Nachfrage nach Passagierflugzeugen der Klasse 37 ihren Höhepunkt erreichte, kehrte die ehemalige D6966/37266 schließlich auf die Hauptstrecke zurück und war seitdem ein festes Mitglied der Flotte. Zuletzt von DRS-Mitarbeitern mit winzigen BR-Doppelpfeilen, gegossenen Victorious-Namensschildern, den Nummern vor dem Umbau und, was am merkwürdigsten ist, den „Cockney-Sparrow“-Motiven des Stratford-Depots verschönert, weist die Lok eine andere Konfiguration von Merkmalen auf als die frühere Kollegin 37405, mit Fenstern an der Karosserie noch an Ort und Stelle, an der Nase montierte Antenne, oberes Lampeneisen und kein Tachokabel.

Multiple body and nose slides to accurately represent almost every member of the class, including three variations of cantrail grille: early EE (for D6700-D6704), later EE and RSH

Four roof styles: Original double riveted, single riveted, welded and welded with antennas

Separately applied etched metal and high fidelity plastic detail parts, including grab handles, aerials, steps, wipers, nameplates, crests and more.

Etched metal door kickplates (where applicable), ‘frost’ grille (where applicable) & super fine etched metal roof grille

Scale width wire handrails

Turned brass roof-mounted horns on centre headcode examples

Full underbody tank detail with brackets and pipework

Bogies feature separate footsteps, etched footsteps, brake cylinders, speed recorder, end brake rigging and very fine brake chain

Brake blocks on trucks (bogies) in line with wheels (can be moved for EM/P4 gauges)

Numerous other locomotive-specific details yet to be revealed!

RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels with fine scale ‘drop in’ EM (18.2mm gauge) and P4 (18.83mm gauge) wheels available separately

Accurate high-fidelity miniature snowploughs

Fully sprung metal buffers, extra-fine factory-installed pipework and screw couplings

Correct height mini-tension-lock couplers with NEM socket as well as a fully detailed bufferbeam

Every model includes PowerPack / Backup Power Capacitor Bank for up to ten seconds of power free running, flicker free lighting and continuous sound

  • High Performance traction, to include;
  • High-quality five-pole motor with two flywheels
  • Metal Helical Gear box for maximum performance and slow speed running
  • Gearing arranged so locomotive can achieve a scale top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h)
  • DCC ready with PowerPack Super-capacitor for uninterrupted power and super low speed running
  • All wheel drive and all wheel pickup

They Own The Class 37's

A superb model in every way,.. Runs extremely well, sounds even better, looks the part even under close examination. Accurascale have really nailed it with their 37's.. They are prototypically accurate and amazing to play with and when idle add that extra touch of realism to the layout.. Now where's that Coal Sector model???

Early Days But A Winner

This is my second of these class 37's I love the weight and looks amazing. After a good run in, it has been a delight to have around the track and the sound profile is awesome. I love that the driver lights automatically go off now as it saves me time. And the desk lights were an unexpected but welcome surprise to me. I look forward to next years model...all you Fans lol

Body Removal

Whist I think the Product is by far the Best Loco on sale at the moment compared to other Brands available in the Uk.
I only have one minor gripe and that is the Chains connecting the Body to the Bogies this makes fitting a crew very awkward.
I am also looking into purchasing your Class 60 “Spirit of Jaguar “ when the I have the Funds at it becomes available.
