The loco arrived here all in one piece after a 30,000 mile trip! Runs superb, almost silent. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.

Happy Memories

As an apprentice at Finsbury Park Depot this was the first loco I ever worked on. The detail on this model is exquisite and the cost of obtaining one and sending it to Melbourne Australia was worth every penny. This exceeds my expectations for the detail that has been included in the build. It will be placed in a display cabinet and will be on display in my study Great job and thank you for bringing back a long distant memory.

Incredibly detailed

I was surprised by the incredible detail the Deltic shows. Packaging was perfect, not the slightest part was loose. No hassles with shipment to Switzerland. My first British loco, and certainly not the last from Accurascale.

Short nameplate, sweet locomotive..

This may have been my first white cab roof painted class 55 spotted at Kings Cross. This version in the BR blue style looks the part from every angle, a fine model with great colour rendition.. I wouldn`t mind a model of 55 007 with white cab roofs, that was my first DELTIC for haulage, on a slow line run from Peterborough to Kings Cross. I returned behind 55 002, my last required to see all the class, and in BR blue.. These models really do conjour up those memories. A super model of 55 003...

Worth the Wait

The Deltics were a long time coming, for understandable reasons, but the final result was well worth the wait. The packaging of the locomotive is up to Accurascale's usual standards, although it was disappointing to find one front footstep and a small black component that I've yet to identify loose in the packaging. The model captures the look and style of the Deltics perfectly, and it looks awesome in BR blue. The level of detail is astounding, and when the sound is turned on it sounds as good as it looks. The Napier Deltic sound is fabulous, and it just looks and sounds brilliant at the head of a rake of blue/grey air con coaches

Deltic (55003 Meld)

The model arrived in a well packaged box and the first thing I noticed was the weight of the locomotive. There will be no issues in the model hauling a long rake of coaches. The amount of detail on the model is outstanding. I have not as yet, had an opportunity of running the model on my layout, since it is located in the attic and it has been very hot recently. If further batches of the 'Deltic' are produced, then I will probably purchase another one. Nigel Williams.

Nearly perfect !

Packaging, paperwork & detail pack superb. Loco finish and detailing is fantastic. Only negative items were 3 minor detailing parts broken and the annoying speaker rattle at slow speeds.

Top Deltic.

At last a model of a deltic that makes you smile when taking it out of the box.It just looks right.Ive been a fan for fifty years and the wait for these models was well worth it i took a big leap of faith and pre ordered into double figures it was well worth it.Some of mine did have the well documented small bits loose in the packaging but they are easily reattached .This didn`t detract in any way from a fantastic and highly detailed model. The attention to the detail changes for each one at different periods of their service lives is spot on and never done before,Please Accurascale do another run, if funds allow i`ll buy all the blue ones again.

Superb Model

This is a fantastic representation of a Deltic locomotive, with excellent detail. It runs really smoothly too.

Stunning model

Another stunner, amazing how much detail is involved, used the iPhone to zoom in onto the Safety notice to view the lettering and the etched plate was incredible.
