Anthony Manor (sound equipped)

Excellent model (although lanterns - even dummy ones - are missing). Sounds on the decoder include a somewhat strange selection: e.g. curve sequal on board, but rail clank is missing.

Definitely a 5 star loco

Had a nice run on the club test track and got it run in. The customary 30 minutes each way. The loco is beautiful and runs really smoothly and quietly. Great finish and there's a good heavy weight to it. All I need now is some Collett and Hawksworth coaches (and one of Accurascale's tasty looking Siphon Gs) to go behind it.

7801 Anthony Manor

Extremely pleased with my A/S well detailed. ( especially the wheels), heavy and runs quietly, smoothly on DC.

Looking forward to receiving my other two Manors from A/S.

Glad I waited for the Manor, by this manufacturer, it feels and looks like a well built quality kit model.
The best GW loco produced so far in OO.

A Manor is born

A great model locomotive in keeping with the other productsI have purchased from this company. The detail is superb, and the finish is first class. I added coal and the model ran perfectly from the start and after a run- in the locomotive pulled with ease nine coaches. The locomotive is built of metal which refines the model and adds weight for pulling purposes. An excellant model.

Cracking little model

Such a great looking and running loco, my first proper steam loco on this layout and it just makes me smile seeing and hearing it making its way around the track! Really can't fault it, the detail is amazong, and the sound is awesome, although it could possibly do with being a bit louder (is there 1 speaker instead of the 2 in the tender?) but hopefully the spare space in the tender can be used to house a bigger speaker.

‘Anthony Manor’ In GWR Green with Shirt-button Emblem

A wonderful model indeed!
The detail and work that has been put into the production of this model is a credit to Accurascale.
I only have two issues with these models though!
One- the sound is far too low once the model is running and detracts from the exquisite quality of this model.
Two- the brake function on this model (function No.2) only plays sounds of braking, the locomotive itself does not react to this function by either slowing down or stopping, especially if function No.5 (heavy mode) is selected.
However, if function No.5 is turned off and function No.6 is selected (light engine mode) the locomotive will slow down and eventually stop, but this braking action is very ‘weak’.
I’m hoping that Accurascale will have a fix for the braking issue with some tweaks to the decoder CV’s once they get back to me?

7801 (Anthony Manor)

I purchased this model on 23/08/2023 and it was delivered on 25/08/2023. Excellent service from DHL. The model was supplied in a very robust box, which was well packaged. The detail on 7801 (Anthony Manor) is excellent. In addition, a booklet was included that gave the history of the Manor Class Locomotive and also described the nine Manors that are preserved. Overall, I am very pleased with this model in terms of detail and price.
