Contiene tres vagones, numerados:

  • B312249
  • B314156
  • B314641
  • Bauxita, librea TOPS
  • Convertido de diagramas 1/119 y 1/120 en Perth entre 1985 y 1987
  • Utilizado para el tráfico de chatarra en Escocia y el noreste de Inglaterra
  • 192 vagones convertidos en MDW
  • Tubos de aire instalados para su uso en trenes Speedlink, por lo demás idénticos a los MDV 'estándar'
  • Los MDW permanecieron en servicio hasta 1992
  • Cuatro funcionaron como ZDV/ZYV en el tráfico departamental, el último se retiró en 1999

Nice wagon despite assembly error

Good detail, especially the underframe. Quiet and free running. Unfortunately half of the wagons out of my two packs had one set of wheels unable to move freely due the the through air pipe being trapped underneath them. Once pulled free and re-glued further inboard all was fine.

These 21T Mineral Wagons are superb in both detail and quality. I have a few sets in both bauxite and grey. They make an excellent addition to the various other mineral wagons in my fleet, all with different numbers.

21T MDW Wagon, pack A

Absolutely fantastic wagons with superb detailing, even the packaging is of a very high standard and on a par with the packaging used by Accurascale for their loco's. Now to get them along with the pack B that I purchased at the same time weathered and loaded with scrap. Well done Accurascale on another brilliant product.
