Why not 'Teak' a peek at our forthcoming 'Genesis' coaches?
We're excited to share the latest images of our Metropolitan Railway teak coaches, featuring further enhancements to the wood-grain finish.
Capturing the warmth, depth and character of real varnished teak is one of the biggest challenges in model manufacturing, so we've been hard at work refining the decoration to bring these beautiful models to life.
With production complete, and the models on their way, let's take a look at what will be landing on our shores soon!
Countless hours of historical research have gone into faithfully recreating the authentic Metropolitan Railway liveries featured across the Genesis range, ensuring they look every bit the part.
The teak coaches themselves have pushed the boundaries of our printing and finishing techniques, but the final production samples here showcase just how far the process has come, with crisp lining, panel detail and intricate coach lettering bringing these elegant vehicles to life.
Spanning a rich and varied period of pre-grouping railway history, our 'Genesis' range has been developed with extensive research to deliver authentic liveries and convincing train formations from a wide range of railway companies.
The result is a unique collection of coaching stock that allows modellers to recreate historically inspired scenes rarely, if ever, available in ready-to-run OO gauge.
