Fantastic speaker

Bought a DCC ready deltic and fitted it with a Hornby hm7000 chip as I like the Bluetooth control but the sound was really quiet then fitted this speaker and the difference is amazing lovely depth and bass to the sound

Accurathrash DCC Sound speaker.

Removing the locomotive body and fitting the speaker were uncomplicated operations. As with all my Accurascale sound fitted locos, the quality of sound from the speaker is very good.

Easy to install and being 8ohms makes it compatible with more diverse range of Sound decoders like Blunami, HM7000 for those that use wireless DCC sound like me. I look forward to buying more of these in the future.

Fitting the Accurathrash speaker to a DCC ready Class 30

To reproduce the factory installation arrangements would require precise cutting and drilling of the speaker mounting tabs together with the fixing rivets. In the absence of any mounting instructions or rivets I resorted to complete removal of the tabs and bonding the rear of the speaker to the main PCB surface. Sound quality is excellent when driven by the corresponding Accurascale supplied ESU Class 30 loksound V5 decoder.

Easy to fit
