SECR P Class 0-6-0T 325 in SECR lined green

My _accurscale_ SECR P Class 0-6-0T 325 in SECR lined green recently arrived in my mail and it is an absolute little gem of a locomotive! Accurscale in partnership with Hatton's designed and built a number of different liveries for this engine. I have several of them and I really wanted to add this SECR lined green version to my collection!

This model is gorgeous, From what I understand, Hattons did a phenomenal job with the SECR Green to begin with, and in this Accurascale did not drop the ball. However, I found my example to be a bit underwhelming as a performer. It ran noticeably slower out of the box than my others (I also have No. 323 and No. 178 from this batch as well as No. 5027 from Hattons) and a few times whilst running in it stalled at random places on my layout. Most of these issues worked themselves out with a bit more power on the analogue controller (obviously the speed went up because of that but it also sped up later on) and though I haven't tested it since I have a feeling all is well for now. If not I know where to find my lifetime warrenty.

Accurascale keep Hattons' legacy alive and I'm all for it - they are exactly the right company to do so!

It arrived today (Saturday 15/02/2025)
after a long time,

Royal mail weren't the best and held the item at their depot with no Updates and sent it back without notifying me.

I Emailed Accurascale and they got a Replacement sent out
Their Customer service team chased up royal mail and got them to deliver the item second time round,

A stunning locomotive, glorious detail and smooth runner on my layout.

This model is highly detailed but not flimsy and the livery finish is excellent.
But none of this would matter if the performance was mediocre.
Happily Accurascale have created visually stunning loco that is also an excellent runner.
It’s a great addition to my fleet.

Great little locomotive, runs very well, details and finish are excellent.

The loco looks amazing, all the details are very fine and the livery is also a highlight. My only problem with it is, that the running plate is slighty warped, so the tanks don‘t sit flush. But everything else is awesome.

Excellent locomotive. Mine came in perfect condition and runs flawlessly. I'm very happy with my purchase.
