SECR P Class 0-6-0T A556 in SR lined green

Excellent packaging set the scene, built the excitement. The loco does not disappoint once down on the track. Very nice detail and decoration. I ran it in for about 2 hours and its initial slight stutter disappeared. But was it really the loco, or my track needed a good running. It certainly doesn't disappoint and can go at a cracking pace on my DC express track. I will chip it for DCC for branch line work once they're in stock at Acurascale. For the low cost its one of the best value models I've seen. So I bought another in SR Black.

I am a fan of train models in Vietnam. I have bought many OO scale loco models to run on H0 layout (Accurascale, Bachmann...). In general, they all work well. I really liked this model when I first saw it, especially when I learned that it could be equipped with a DCC decoder. Before deciding to buy, I chatted with you to ask about the service of installing the decoder and testing before delivery, but unfortunately you do not have that service for this loco. When I received the goods in Vietnam, I read the instructions carefully and installed the ESU micro decoder purchased with the order. However, it did not run when using the NCE Power Cab controller with address #3 (as usual). I took a photo and sent it to the technical department for support. However, you could not support anything other than advising to change the direction of the decoder installation and try to change the address of the loco to another number? I have a feeling you have not tested this situation so you give such advice. Unfortunately, the model is very beautiful, runs DC OK but cannot operate with DCC decoder.

The detail and finish on this loco is stunning. Mine runs on DC only and is incredibly smooth and quiet. The packaging is commendably effective, my loco worryingly disappeared for two weeks into the abyss of courier networks but eventually arrived unscathed in my remote corner of the antipodes...

This little loco is very attractive with plenty of detail, but, when it moves off slowly it is ridiculously jerky. Each turn of the motor it lurches forward.
I cannot recommend.

These are excellent models. I have four. Thank you Hattons for the original concept and thank you Accurascale for picking up the project. These are very delicate models and need to be handled with great car.

This like the fully lined SECR & Bluebell versions, is a little gem. Well done Accurascale for picking the project up from Hattons. I bought a few of the first run, and 4 of the current run and these are every bit as good in detail and running. For a new loco, the price is ok as well. I hope the big H take note!

The paint is a beautiful deep rich green, the decals are immaculate, the details on the outside and in the cab are the best I've seen. It ran very nice and smooth right out of the box and is only getting better as I use it more. I cannot recommend this joyous little model more.

It is a beauty. This was originally ordered from Hatton's. It has taken over a year but it finally arrived January 27, 2025.

Superb model but mine makes a weird ticking noise when reversing !!
