Baserat på ESU:s beprövade Lokpilot 5-dekoder, är denna 6-stiftsversion skräddarsydd för att passa in i det begränsade utrymmet som finns i våra Andrew Barclay och SECR P Class Lokomotiv, samtidigt som den ger dig maximal DCC-funktionalitet.

Vanliga egenskaper:

  • LokPilot 5-avkodaren kan användas på analoga DC- och AC-järnvägar. Dekodern växlar mellan driftlägena helt automatiskt "on-the-fly". Vanligtvis behöver ingenting ställas in.

  • Motorstyrningen i LokPilot 5 har förbättrats i grunden igen. En variabelt justerbar PWM-klockfrekvens från 10kHz till 50kHz säkerställer supertyst drift, speciellt med klockarmaturmotorer - det typiska "brummet" är ett minne blott. Lastkontrollen kan nu anpassas till svåra fall med upp till 10 CV. Den unika "Autotune"-funktionen gör att dekodern automatiskt kan kalibreras till motorn. Med upp till 1,5A motorström ger LokPilot 5-dekodern tillräckligt med juice även för äldre motorer.

  • Skydd, Naturligtvis är alla funktionsutgångar och motorutgången skyddade mot överbelastning. Vi vill att du ska ha glädje av din dekoder så länge som möjligt.

6 pin decoder chip

This decoder is a great fit for the p class from accurascale very smooth running of the locomotive very easy to fit. Very happy with it.

FITS, WORKS, ABILITY TO GROW

This review is in response to my initial review of the Andrew Barclay and the difficulties of installing a DCC decoder. Andrew of Accurascale responded to that review and promptly restocked this decoder. The outstanding customer support he provided has led to my ability to run this loco in the way that it was designed to do. It is an outstanding performer.

This decoder not only fits with room to spare, but also provides solder points to enable additional features. I added a TCS KA-N1 stay alive, which is small enough to fit below the decoder and may also add lighting features to the available auxiliary pads. It runs the loco smoothly.

The size of this decoder makes it easier to install into the Andrew Barclay (AB) without too much fuss. The interferences on the AB make it too precarious to have to try to fight a decoder in, as I was doing. This time, there were no issues (experience helped too!).

Decoder very easy to fit once the body removed and the change of code from the standard 003 was done without issue. However, the engine does not run very well, indeed it is substandard The decoder is perhaps not the problem but the situation as it has presented itself not ideal.

First venture into DCC

Fitting the chip was no problem - once located the instructions on the LokPilot web site (no printed instructions included). All works fine on 12v analogue. Not yet tried on DCC as this is the first step in my journey to DCC; so will need to invest in a command station and a cab next.

Very good decoders

Only thing that stops a 5* review is it would be helpful for something to mark pin1. I know it wouldn't damage it putting it in reversed, but it's not good practice. Otherwise, does exactly what it should.

P class decoder

fits perfectly in the socket without being to big runs perfectly smooth after 30 mins each way would buy again
