Vi är glada över att samarbeta med våra danska vänner på Heljan för att ge dig en upplaga av de före detta BR Oiltankers som köptes av CIE i slutet av 1960-talet och modifierade för irländsk verksamhet. Synonymt på "Sligo Oil"-tågen, modifierades dessa B Class tankvagnar med ytterligare stag mellan tanktrumman och chassit som vi har redskap för att göra dessa autentiska för de irländska varianterna av dessa distinkta vagnar.

I have not had a detailed look at them yet, but they seem to be a good model, nice detail etc. One thing for certain, major work will be required to make them wide enough to accept scale 21mm gauge wheel sets. I have not got a plan yet. Watch this space.

CIE Esso tank wagons , packs 1 & 2.

Morning.
Where to start .? , the packaging was poor , 2 boxes in a bigger box with nothing to stop them sliding about during transit , lid on one of the boxes was partly off and wagons out of the foam and in a heap at one end inside their box. , thankfully nothing damaged or broken . The running was terrible , a gentle push with a finger and after about a metre came to a stand , the noise was terrible , squeaking , groaning etc when being pulled by a loco so a drip of plastic friendly oil applied to each axle box was required to cure this and promote free running , the wagons are nice and nice things to have but the quality all round was very poor by your standards , perhaps some bearings should have been used as in your recently purchased OOVs , sorry for being negative.
