Paket I: Seaham Dock Co. - Tre 4T 'Black Waggons', i tre karosserier, cirka 1950-talet.

Innehåller tre vagnar, numrerade:

Varje förpackning som producerats har ett tema efter kol och varje avbildad vagn är baserad på fotografiska bevis och hänvisningar till kolarkiv för att bekräfta bokstäver. Vissa förpackningar innehåller bara en stil av vagn, medan andra innehåller blandade stilar där forskning har visat att de fungerade i samband med varandra. 

Specifikationslista:

  • Pressgjuten metallchassi med plastkropp. Vikt 9 g olastad.
  • Fungerar över kurvor med minsta radie (371 mm, 1:a radie inställd spår)
  • Fem olika kroppsdesigner som täcker en tidsperiod från 1840 till 1978.
  • Tre stilar av hjuldesign; delad eker, stjärneker och vågeker, till en svärtad 00 gauge RP25-88 profil.
  • Tre stilar av bromsarrangemang och bromshandtag, med olika blocktyper och den mer komplicerade bromsen Londonderry spännetyp.
  • Tre arrangemang av "bang-boards".
  • Ytterligare, borttagbara "greedy boards" (horisontella brädförlängningar av kroppen) till Shildon Works-byggda Chaldron, vilket ger en ökad kolbelastning.
  • Skala bredd tråd ledstänger, metall stift käft koppling och wire/ets handbroms spakar.
  • Eroderade metall-/plastdetaljer, inklusive grepphandtag, dörrsäkringssprintar, chassikedjepunkter och säkerhetskedjor i metall.
  • Vagnar anslutna via en helt ny länkad finkedja med neodymmagnethuvuden, anslutna till vagnen via prototypisk saxkoppling.
  • Två extra NEM-monterade magnetkopplingar levererade med vagnpaket för att möjliggöra montering på lok och/eller ytterligare rullande materiel.
  • Konstverk har autentiska colliemarkeringar och siffror, exakt efter tidsperiod modellerade och baserade på faktiska fotografiska bevis där så är möjligt.
  • Ytterligare forskningshjälp från Beamish Living Museum, Bowes Railway och North Eastern Railway Association.

Chaldron waggons(sic!)

I am delighted with the Seaham harbour model, as I am with the tree others sets (Londerry, Stella and NCB S.C.C versions). I also intend buying the Harton versions when these become available.

Harton colliery electric locomotives would be interesting models.....

Its an excellent model and s these are still around at places like Beamish can be used in any time period.

Chaldron Wagons

The chaldron wagon is such a quirky item I decided that I had to have some although I've not got any thoughts of having a colliery. The reaction after removal from the box was that they were far too light and would not stay on the track, how wrong I was! If you like quirkyness and are thinking of making a small diorama these are the perfect size, all I need now to go with the wagons is a small steam loco with dumb buffers that match the positions on the chaldron and larger hoppers - or a horse!
Just shows that with a lot of thought, good design and manufacture anythings possible. Well done.
