Awesome coaches with fantastic detail. Finish is perfect with a perfect colour match to other manufactures stock. The lighting is just about right and very easy to control with a stay alive that is more than adequate. Five Stars from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An absolutely beautiful locomotive and a fantastic addition to the many Accurascale Class 66s I already own. The triple grey livery looks superb. I purchased this non-sound version and fitted a Hornby HM7000 decoder myself, with excellent results. I am delighted with it, and this example thoroughly deserves five stars.
Unfortunately, my separately purchased sound-fitted version arrived with a damaged original box, despite the outer shipping carton being undamaged. That experience received two stars. I never even took that locomotive out of its box, so that rating was about its condition on arrival, not its running quality.
This was the third damaged box across locomotive and wagon purchases in five weeks. Accurascale’s warehouse checks must improve. Original packaging matters to collectors, and customers purchasing new items should not repeatedly have to arrange returns.
A fantastic locomotive, but the care taken before dispatch needs to match the quality of the model.

I today received my first brand new Accurascale class 50 Ajax and I made the decision after going to the Accurascale stand and had a chat with staff there I went home and purchased one when it arrived o was amazed by the detail
And finish it looks amazing and will be purchasing most of my new model trains from Accurascale from now on.

This incarnation in Laira blue is fabulous - as per usual, she sounds amazing and runs brilliantly - a superb rendition of an old favourite and brings back such happy memories

What a cracking model - was unsure of getting her at first as would have preferred the black roof version, but so pleased i did pre order her.
Accurascale have further refined their 50, now with black paint highlighting the detail on the mw jumpers.
She runs superbly, and sounds wonderful
