I wanted a gift card as a Christmas present for a family member. I ordered this on line and the process did work satisfactorily. However the nature of the result is a bit impersonal and could be better.
Email gift cards are not ideal:
Cannot check they have been sent .
No copy of email sent to buyer
Might be missed by recipient
Could end up in junk folder
Many users I am sure would prefer some form of gift card to be sent as a present.
It would be better to use an “Amazon” type process where a card is bought on line which can then be downloaded and printed if required. This would be much more personal and reassuring.

Nice option to have rather than cash

Purchase every year for my stepfather and am always satisfied with my experience. Straight forward, quick and always hassle free.

I know it’s the modem thing now using a computer.
But would have been nice to have a gift card to give to someone, not a sheet of A4

This was such an easy way to get a voucher for a train enthusiast. Perfectly straight forward website would definitely use them again.
