Okay, what cannot be said about the Siphon G from Accurascales recent releases. Well, not a lot, for I am sure it has already been said some where in these reviews. I'm not sure if they are classed as a coach or a freight van or wagon, the latter always seems to refer to be an open wagon. Therefore I'm gonna say they are vans, staff only, not suitable for passengers attitude. The vans have been made to various diagrams and colour liveries and this first lot do not disappoint. Each, version with different sides, roofs, ends, and under chassis details are fabulous. Some with, others without connecting corridors that are made from a rubberised material. There must be a massive collection of swap out tools used for the tooling of these vans. For the variations on this batch is unbelievable and cover a wide range throughout there working careers. I can't get over how many differences there is between two era's and how well they turned out to be. An utterly fabulous addition to my fleet and well worth it. Some critics going as far as the box alone being an engineering marvel, come on its a box, abet a gorgeous printed one at that, no more a boring shop window displayed affair. They are ridget and firm and I recon they will last longer than the clear window versions. The only draw back is the detail on the vans which is superb by the way. That the glue isn't always the strongest or too little of amount to hold them on. The latter being harder to add due to how small some of these parts are. Like many I'm sure, they also had a couple of small parts fall off in transit. The worst offenders was the hooded steel coil carrier sets. Those tiny hand grabs are a killer to glue and place, and I've yet to finish them and its 2023 now, lol. If one does desire to achieve the ultimate in model perfection this has to be on the top of any list for awards this year. Gee, these Siphons will carry off a lot of trophies that Accurascale better keep one to store them all in, lol. Lovely vehicles from China, in either Brown, Maroon, Crimson, Blue, Green or Greyish Ambulance the Siphon G never looked so good. A remarkable engineering feat in small scale modelling with the fine tolerances, delicate and fragile components and certainly my longest review for an excellent van/coach/wagon to date.
