The level of detail is exceptional, very high quality finish. Having run it in on a rolling road, the loco performs faultlessly. Overall, delighted with the class 31.

Stunning Class 31

Accurascale Class 31's are stunning locos and D5803 in Green with a full yellow panel was an excellent choice by accurascale as I have seen images of this loco with full yellow panel from 1969 to 1973 so a good choice.

Too nice to unwrap

A beautifully crafted piece of art. It’s almost too good to take out the box and like a precious work of art should be handled wearing white gloves. An astonishing achievement and very well done indeed.

Arrived complete , undamaged & no bits in box , lovely model that captures the class 31 look , ran in (30 mins each way) and is as silent and smooth as my 5544 , another excellent model ,just waiting for NRM exclusive to complete my trio, and my three class 50s.

This is a goods loco and whilst I have seen articles criticising the sound quality, I have no complaints myself. I am not the greatest fan of Accurascale support as they insist on working through robots and message exchanges, but the products are very good provided you never need to speak to anyone about a problem.

IMPRESSIVE

Finally, a locomotive from Accurascale where the couplings haven’t fallen off! The class 31 runs smoothly and silently on DC, doesn’t stall anywhere thanks to the stay alive. Best locomotive so far.
