Run two of our Class 55 Deltic has arrived in stock and settled into service on layouts across the hobby.
Despite vigorous checking processes, we completely missed that some locomotives had been fitted with the incorrect lighting PCB guide facias, which resulted in white marker lights being illuminated. This affects the following running numbers:
- 55002 (Locomotion Models Limited Edition BR Blue
- 55013
- 55020
- D9000 (Preserved 90s Virgin XC Edition)
- D9015 (DPS Limited Edition BR Green)
- D9018
As always, we promised we would supply the 'factory fix' and you'll be pleased to know that the correct facia pieces have arrived!

To fit, follow these basic instructions:
1) Remove the locomotive body and locate the black plastic facia on either end of the loco.

2) Gently remove the current facia from the LED board, this is held in place by two spigots and can be removed by hand.
3) Replace with the new facia, making sure all wiring is tucked away before replacing the loco body.
And that's all there is to it, while the body is off, you could also use the opportunity to fit the Modelu custom crew to the drivers and second-man seats. Click here.
