Amazin

The Andrew Barclay 0-4-0st 14" 2201 "victory" in plain maroon with wasp stripes is a brilliant loco. An excellent runner and beautiful detail all round. Very weighty and with an amazing paint finish. Worth the price

Just like the real thing

Having recently received this well produced model of Andrew Barclay 2201 Victory I have compared it to the real life loco that the caerphilly railway society restored many years ago at the sight of their former base before forced out by vandalism & scrap metal Thieves who cut out a section of rail from the running line.
Back to the model it well put together and looks really as it was in industrial service.
I can't give any comments on it running abilities as I have purchased it for display purposes only and having done a small amount of work on her at caerphilly.
The price is well worth paying for a well presented model.

Lovely little bugger!

Missed out on the Hattons variants, so i was excited to pick up a new one from Accurascale!. Got her to America safely, and she was strong enough for two! Stunner and a runner!

Andrew Barclay Victory with Wasp Stripes

Nice 0 4 0 loco. Unfortunately it did not run well at all out of the box. It appeaered to have an issue with the wheel pickups. Anyway I stripped it down and have got it working much better now. This is the first time I have observed an issue with an Accurascale model so it has not affected my overall view. However it does say that a run test at the manufacurers would ensure 100% running quality.
