Superb level of detail

These are a great set of NCB wagons. The level of detail is excellent and they run well on my layout. I tried to find a set of coal loads that would fit but in the end made my own. Happy to recommend these

Bates minerals

A good representation of the wagons used internally till the colliery closed, a run without top doors or even without side doors would be appreciated!

16T mineral wagons

These are excellent wagons, one thing I would say is they should be black inside.

Great quality wagons.

I have several NCB locos and other models, so decided to buy a couple of packs of these NCB black 16T wagons to go with them.

IMO these are the best 16T Mineral wagons currently on the market.

A big upgrade on my old Hornby ones as expected. I also compared them to my Wrenn 16T wagons. These have decent detail but it's not as fine or to the same extent. The Wrenn wagons also have thicker sides and are 5mm longer.

The Accurascale wagons weigh in at 35g each compared to 31g for my Hornby wagons and 55g for the Wrenn's.

The most noticeable improvement in detail with the Accurascale wagons is on the chassis with the brake rigging etc and the print on the sides. There is also some detailing on the inside. The gates are separately fitted parts, though I don't think they open and don't want to risk trying.

They're lovely runners and freewheel an impressive distance. The detail pack includes 2 sets of alternative couplings: Some longer NEMs and 3 chain.

NCB Black Wagon Pack R.

There is nothing better than to see a great looking rake of coal wagons on a layout. Through if you've only a small one or diorama then opt for a few NCB wagons. This latest release from Accurascale have hit on another winner for their Powering Britain stock. They have been beautifully designed and incorporate various detail differences over there lifetime. From the axle boxes, end doors, and brake handles, etc as a visual guide to notice. As per the manufacturers incredible eye for detail and printing they will look fabulous on any track below them to run on.
