Freightliner fue la segunda compañía operadora en ingresar al juego de la clase 66 con la primera de sus locomotoras llegando en 1999. Apodada 'freds', una combinación de Freightliner y Shed, la 66507 representa la clase 66 de Freightliner estándar de los primeros años 2000.

'Get your kicks from an accrued 66'

They just get better and bigger and so does the price. My son keeps asking for a wage increase or he will call a rail strike no news there then. Absolutely brilliant.
Let's make a 'mayflower' B1 to go with all the other top notch locos. keep 'em' coming

Amazing sound and amazing model.

I drive these 66s for a living with Freightliner and the sound is so realistic, it’s like being at work at home now. Love the start up procedure and engine idling. My first sound fitted model and doesn’t disappoint. Livery is spot on and model is very smooth at slow speed. Another great model from Accurascale.

Outstanding upgrade on Hattons original.

Accurascale have really mastered packaging, my 66 arrived in outstanding multi-layer boxes and was easy to unpack without any loose bits.

I had a Hattons Class 66 before for several years which this model is an upgrade of. The loco runs perfectly, details are outstanding and the quality upgrade from the older model is noticeable. So smooth to drive.

Where I have been less happy is the sound quality, as brilliant as the loco is, it doesn't match what I had in my Hattons loco, admittedly I fitted with a Legomanbiffo chip & EM2 speaker. I understand that the sound is correct, but from listening to 66s today, I just don't quite think it's captured the sound quite right. Sorry AS.

Probably if I hadn't had a better sound before I'd have given a 5* review, as I would for a DC only loco.
