Approchant 25 ans et toujours dans sa couleur marron et or d'origine, 66171 a eu quelques étiquettes d'avertissement supplémentaires mais porte toujours le surnom de son propriétaire d'origine, EWS. Une véritable locomotive passe-partout et utilisable jusqu'à nos jours.

Notre modèle de classe 66 est basé sur la plate-forme primée "accura-standard", avec des bogies à six essieux à traction intégrale, un puissant moteur à double volant d'inertie et un ensemble électronique leader du marché.

Highly detailed OO scale model, 1:76.2 scale

  • Minimum Radius 438mm (2nd Radius Set-track)
  • Die-cast metal chassis.
  • RP25-110 profile OO wheels
  • Separately applied etched metal/plastic detail parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, etc.
  • Scale width wire handrails
  • Full underframe tank detail with brackets and pipework
  • Fully sprung buffers, factory-fitted pipework and screw couplings (for display)
  • Dummy knuckle couplers fitted where relevant
  • Kinetic NEM coupler mounts at correct height and mini-tension-lock couplers
  • “Easi-mag” lift off roof panel to access the decoder and DC light switches

Deluxe Features

  • PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted power
  • Customised Dual-Speaker Technology with large ‘Accurathrash’ Style Bass Speaker and smaller 'iphone' style cube for higher frequencies (on DCC Sound-fitted models only)

Installed my own DCC sound and speaker on this model with ease, near enough plug and play. Top job Accurascale.

Superb model The best model diesel locomotive on the market
The slow running performance is fantastic the best yet
BUT why o why did i have to go on line to access the instructions
on how to fit the bufferbeams when all that was required was one
sheet of paper to be included with the model with the instructions
printed on it SO MUCH EASIER

EWS Class 66 - Wow!

I was not a Class 66 fan, but just had to own one of these in EWS livery. A stunning model, both smooth running, and powerful. Now I regret not buying the sound version when I had chance.

So happy I purchased this model I’m a big fan of the EWS livery and this model didn’t disappoint,I fitted a driver and mate I purchased from Accurascale taking the body off and cabin was so easy following the guidance on the Accurascale website, the driver a crew mate added to the amazing detail this model as plus such a smooth runner

Was it worth the wait? damn right it was, first class quality and runs smooth as snake skin all at a very reasonable price. Very pleased, now really looking forward to receiving the Deltic and class 60 which I have pre-ordered. keep up the great work Accurascale.
