L'arrivée de 66001 sur le sol britannique à 08h53 le 18 avril 1998 a marqué une nouvelle aube pour le fret ferroviaire britannique, la première de plusieurs centaines de locomotives d'un type qui allait révolutionner le fret ferroviaire à travers le Royaume-Uni (et l'Europe). Il y avait quelques différences subtiles entre les deux premiers et le reste du lot de production qui n'ont jamais été reproduites auparavant sur un modèle. Premièrement, les œillets d'arrimage pour fixer la locomotive au navire étaient dans une position différente des modèles ultérieurs. La calandre du klaxon était également montée presque au ras de la carrosserie. Visuellement, 66001 avait l'air plus frappant en raison de ses grilles rouges qui ont ensuite été changées en noir.

Notre modèle de classe 66 est basé sur la plate-forme primée "accura-standard", avec des bogies à six essieux à traction intégrale, un puissant moteur à double volant et un ensemble électronique leader du marché.

The perfect Shed!

From opening the box to hearing the sounds for the first time. This 66 blew my mind and beat all expectations. Runs really smoothly and the sounds are incredible! You can even hear the TPWS/AWS system test and the GSMR registration sounds when changing direction. Sublime

Class 66 EWS 66001 in Norway

The EWS 66001 are running on an HO scale modelrailway in Norway. No one of the menbers have react to its scale in OO. It runs good with about 40 wagons, ordinary with 10 EWS wagons (with bogies). It is better than my old one from Hattons. Sorry that I have no picture of it, but I have a picture from the modelrailway. Place named Speyside.

A work of art on the class 66

Given accuracsales other products I knew this would be a good one. Indeed i was correct it's perfection in my opinion it has everything you could possibly need on a class 66 and the quality of the DCC sound is astonishing absolute beast of a model. Well worth the money and the wait !

The First of Many Sheds!

This EWS liveried class 66 is totally not my usual era for modelling - but having seen how good the pre-production models looked I decided to get one.

The whole item is superb - a fabulous model along with a brilliant presentation box etc. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into producing such a top class item - I can't wait to give it a run!

I'll definitely be in the market for DB and another EWS one in the very near future.

Beautiful Class 66

Shipped very quickly to the Netherlands. Beautiful locomotive with very realistic sound. Runs great on my 60s Fleischmann rails. Keep up the good work Accurascale.

Another fantastic looking detailed model that looks the business. Clearly a market leader in design, performance and detail. The whole package had me thinking Wow !
