Considéré comme le « chaînon manquant » de la gamme « Powering Britain » , le wagon minéralier de 16 tonnes est un ajout essentiel à la gamme Accurascale pour raconter l'histoire du trafic de charbon sur les chemins de fer tout au long du XXe siècle. L'archétype du wagon minéralier BR de 16 tonnes, tout acier et sans trémie, a proliféré sur le réseau ferroviaire britannique dans les années 1950 et 1960, et il n'existait probablement pas une voie d'évitement, une gare de marchandises ou un réseau ferroviaire industriel dans le pays qui n'abritait pas au moins un ou trois exemplaires de ces véhicules ferroviaires, pourtant essentiels et banals.

Duperb model of this every-day wagon

As usual Accurascale have created the definitive model of this very ordinary wagon. Perfect running and specific detail for every variant. It is however very clean and sharp. I'm summoning the courage to give them a proper weathering.

Another excellent product from Accurascale. Impressed from opening the box. Easy conversion to P4 although the brakes will need to be moved to align with the tyres on the wheels.
