SECR P Class 0-6-0T A556 en SR doublé vert

What a beautiful little loco! Wonderful detail and runs well. My only criticism is the cab glazing which is applied as two units spanning the walls rather than as individual pieces. This is probably not Accurascale's decision but Hattons' - but would it have been too much to ask for Accurascale to re-tool the glazing? Particularly as the rest of the cab interior is a work of art. I'm being picky here, admittedly, and everything else about this loco is first rate.

This is my second P class loco purchase. It’s another fabulous model, which ran straight out of the box. A minor issue is that one of the crank pins does catch the step, just enough to hear a slight click. Not as yet had a go of trying to adjust the body position or worse still having to remove the body, to gently file the inside of the step.

This was not my first purchase of the P class. I already had a small fleet when Hattons closed. I am pleased to say that the standard has not declined. This is a super little runner with a very attractive colour scheme. I am a happy customer.

I was so impressed with with this little Southern loco I decided that I enjoyed watching these little beauties so much more than the big Steam trains I had incorrectly convinced myself I was drawn to, I will now be focusing on a more dynamic model railway full of little shunting tanks etc.

I am lucky to have 3 variations of this engine 2 Accurascale and 1 of the original Hattons. What a great little model and a great addition to my collection.

Absolutely beautiful loco. I was really impressed with this loco, so much I brought another one which is lovely. Totally recommend one

Loco arrived promptly, a nice detailed model. First time use at an exhibition. Within minutes of using the loco, the glazing in the cab became detached, when run slowly the loco bounced along the track as if something was binding! Was not fit for purpose, cannot have been checked running before going out for sale. Loco has been returned, received and as yet I have heard absolutely nothing in respect of it being received, looked at, repaired or replaced.

So at the moment I am dissapointed and annoyed. Saying that, I did order the Southern Black version which is perfect.

It seems Accurascale customer service needs alot of work!!!!!!

Safe to say that I would order more locos from them, but hopefully would not need to use returns service as it is dismally bad!
