I have been a modeler since the 1960s,was in the P4 model group, and i have seen some of the finest models, and met some of their makers of the same.and i have to say these are one of the finest models i have seen, more or less museum standard. i do not agree with your remarks about the NEM pocket,in my opinion it is in the correct position, most makers stick to the correct height, but not the length to the buffer end,you are trying to compramise for the rubbish tension lock coupling,.I use the Fleischmann 6515 coupling on all my passenger stock, and this connects the Siphons to the close coupling required.a much better option than magnetic couplers.these couplings are light years in front of the ancient (tension lock) the Fleischmanns give a correct safe connection,(no shuffling about like an ancient loose coupled coal train)You should try them, and i am just a customer. But these Siphons are superb, the only thing i could say i would have hoped to have got some end doors for the corridor connections,i fit Hornby Hawksworth doors which fit great and improve the look, after all in service it was rare to see them connected up.For my wish list how about the ex LMS 42ft bogie CCT an iconic coach,it would be a top seller,as they lasted from 1930s up to the mid 70s,in lots of different liveries.hope you might find time to look at this review!
