First class all round - on another level for RTR !!!

A finely detailed model of a loco which ran from Dundee shed later in its life. The magnetic roof makes fitting of a crew an easy job. The centre axle might benefit from slightly more sideplay as the driving axles are just a little too rigid to negotiate the inside leg of a Peco Setrack second radius point even though the point is purportedly second radius.

This has to be one of the finest model steam locomotives ever made. The detail is incredible. It runs quietly and smoothly. Everything about it shouts finesse and quality. This has to be a strong contender for the model of the year.

I like the lack of coal in the bunker - although I hope at some point a removable coal load will be produced - perhaps even a choice of coal loads of different heights?

I am a little concerned about the removal of the brake rigging when it comes to servicing the loco. I have complete confidence that Accurascale will address this well before I have to undertake this task!

A suggestion I do have is that the loco manual detailing how the remove the body etc. would be better reviewed by someone from outside of the Accurascale team. When you are so close to a project it will be very hard to identify potential issues. Why not invite someone from outside to take the draft manual and use it to check / service etc. an actual pre production model? This may ensure any discrepancies can be identified and removed before final production?

Again, I must reiterate just what a superb model this is. Model railway magic!

Simply awesome. The features and detail are incredible. I particularly like the careful choice of materials used in construction, and the fully detailed empty coal bunker interior, which makes it easy to vary the coal load. The livery of this model is carefully and accurately reproduced. Tremendous pulling power too. Absolutely delighted.
