Firstly when this loco arrived and I unpacked it the etched roof grill (in the foreground of photo) was loose in the box. Though a few droplets of neat PVA or super glue (what adhesive does the factory use?) will fix it back in place. Otherwise Accurascale have pulled out a show stopping Class 66. The livery is spot on, fine and crisp edges. The detailing is fabulous with chassis lined cabling, fine handrails, steps, side grills, and other equipment. The cab interiors are well depicted as per Accurascales normal specs with their loco stock. The cab ends are wonderful with the full fitted buffer beams included in the accessories baggie. The light clusters are nice with the body lifting eyes inbetween, fine wipers, and the etched grill over the top air horns looks even finer. I've not test run it yet, not until I get to fitted the loose roof grill and the #1 Cab end full spec buffer on. Verdict: Another winner for Accurascale to kick the new year of with, just a shame the grill came off. Plus, my saved up points helped to pay a ¼ of the price for me.
