I've got memories of these coaches from my childhood and the AS/IRM models are an excellent rendition of these distinctive vehicles.
The photos show one model fresh out of the box, and the other which I have regauged and backdated into an earlier version of the livery. I added some extra interior details including the raised seat backs in the vestibules which are missing from the model - the only obvious fault I could find.
Regauging to 21mm gauge was relatively straightforward by pulling the wheels out on the axles, and some slightly fiddly modifications to the brake gear. But a simple and enjoyable little job, and it's great that IRM make provision for the correct track gauge.
