Beautiful coaches. Museum quality. However, I have given only 3 stars as the lighting in all 3 of the coaches that I bought would not work on receipt. On examination, all of the wheels had a coating of black paint which acted as an insulator and prevented current reaching thr lights. It can be sorted by cleaning the wheels back to metal with a fibre glass brush or track rubber. Sadly as there are lots of fine parts this resulted in some parts being dislodged in the cleaning process. Once the wheels are clean the lighting function works well up to now. I understand other customers have had simikar issues. This is an obvious quality control issue. First the wheels should not be painted and worst still this proves the coaches are not checked for operation before packing and dispatch. With lots of other coaches comining out with lights I hope Accurascale rectify these issues. We should not be paying nearly £200 for 3 coaches only to find we have to fix them. As some form of compensation for my dissapointment perhaps Accurascale will send me some Modelu passenger packs for the coaches 😂😂

As we now all probably expect, the Accurascale MK1 suburban coach M46009 and it`s companions is nothing short of magnificence. The look of the and feel of the coach mirrors the real thing to a 'T'. The attention to detail is a marvel, from flush glaze windows, paintwork and decoration. The work that has gone into the underframe has to be seen to really understand the lengths that this manufacturer has gone too. Finally to the running of the coach, So smooth and easy, If you have the slightest incline the coach will roll. I have bought five of these carriages and they look brilliant when being hauled by my Class 31 diesel, Accurascale, of course. Well done Accurascale.

These coaches are a top quality product from Accurascale. The detailing and look is amazing and they run so smoothly. The lights work effortlessly when using the wand and even stay on for a while after power is removed from the pickups.

The appearance is perfect with the usual fine detail and quality we have come to expect from Accurascale and the lift off roof is a massive improvement on traditional designs. Internal detailing is stunning and the underfloor detailing is quite extraordinary. They run quite freely but my only gripe is the lighting which didn't seem to work at all on arrival. It did work if I held the coaches down and pushed them up and dwn the track for a while but the intensity and duratio was different between the two coaches. I can only assume that this is down to the contacts between axles and wheels needing to bed in with use so hopefully it will improve with time. Easily 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the lighting.

Have been waiting for the maroon mk1 coaches for some time. I have to say I am not disappointed, they are really a piece of workmanship. Excellent quality, detail second to none.

I recently bought direct from Accurascale two non-gangwayed suburban coaches (code S) and one brake second suburban coach (code BS), all in BR lines maroon. They are very detailed models with some delicate parts, one or two of which got broken when I changed the couplings to Hunt magnetic couplings. That aside, I am very pleased with them, and the lights come on after a short delay once I have put them on my DCC powered track. I do find them a little track sensitive, but feel this is more because of the state of my track than anything else. I would recommend these coaches.

Great detail and a brilliant runner. As per my reviews of the other two lined maroon coaches, M43235 and M46071, needed a little running in for the lights to work reliably. Otherwise, no issues with them whatsoever. Only wish there were a few more in midland region lined maroon. 🤞

A fantastic model. Superb running quality and exceptional detailing. Very highly recommended.
