Stepping Up...
I have been a long term user of ZTC systems, having two 511s and one 611. I like them, particularly the interface, but their age was catching up on them and I decided it was time to upgrade. Having read lots of reviews, I decided am ECoS solution was the way to go, and I am glad that I did.
The control interface whilst not the "real feel" of the ZTC system is nice and the addition of a touchscreen makes life easier. Images associated with particular IDs is a big benefit, as it being able to directly control two locos at the same time.
The ZTC system still has a place, but the new ECoS system is now my go-to controller.
