  • Wheel flange squeal sensor on DCC sound fitted locomotives for automatic flange squeal on sound programme

High Performance traction features;

  • High quality 5-pole motor with two large flywheels
  • Helical Gear box for maximum performance and slow speed running
  • Gearing arranged so locomotive can achieve a scale top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h)
  • Outer axles on bogies are driven (sprung dummy centre axle) and all wheel pickup

Fully detailed Lighting Pack features:

  • Directional lighting, DC and DCC
  • Lighting clusters with appropriate day and night-time settings
  • Switchable Red and white marker lights (red can be switched individual lights or both on)

A great model and vey well executed in detail.

I purchased this model to replace the hornby model that had a bad case of mazak rot. the model runs very smoothly and has great detail in the drivers cabs. I fitted the ESU Lok-sound chip with one of Accurascale Accutrash speakers which give the model extraordinary sound detail. . The paint work is spot on and done to a very high standard. I am looking forward to more model of the quality in the future.

Excellent Model

Having spent some time with the model today I can honestly say the level of detail is stunning. It's very reliable and the inclusion of the stay alive is very welcome. The prefitted speaker sounds good. Worth noting that this model really needs a Loksound decoder to function properly.

Great model, just like your Class 31 and 55. Only downside is no sound file available or driver crew. This also applies to the Class 31 crew. The model itself is fantastic

Outstanding model

It really is a fine model, lots of detail and runs so smooth. Only draw back was the 2 seats loose in cab, so had to remove body, which I did not want to do.

A livery that really suited the Class 30 - and expertly presented by Accurascale (quality of finish, attention to detail etc) in this model. Add that to what is already a superb model then it makes an impressive package!!

Beuatiful Brush

Haven't had a chance to run her yet but a wonderful model of a prototype that I saw around Stratford and Liverpool Street in the late 50's and early 60's. Accurascale you have captured this to perfection. As I recall there were a couple of one off liveries, light blue and a kind of orangy coloured one....................any thoughts???

The Definitive Class 30.

Yet another fantastic loco from Accurascale. Straight from the box, this loco runs exceptionally quietly and supper smoothly. The wealth of detail that Accurascale provides never ceases to amaze me, and as always, the livery, lining, and other printed detail is crisp and legible. I can't wait for my Accurathrash decoders and speakers to arrive so that they can be installed and let loose on my layout.

Any chance of D5579 in Golden Ochre , maybe as an "Accurascale Exclusive"?
