Another great loco from Accurascale

Another great loco from Accurascale. It will look even better with the painted jumper cables.
Runs great out the box and is a credit to my loco fleet.

An absolute brilliant model

An absolute brilliant model and the details are amazing and the locomotive is extremely quiet.
It’s one of the best models I’ve purchased for a while. I would have no hesitation in purchasing another locomotive.

Another super locomotive from Accurascale

This is the second 50 I have bought from Accurascale and both are quite superb. Only one extremely minor niggle - the power lead boxes on the locomotive front are unpainted and one of these was a poor fit and was loose inside the box.

utter perfection!

I've now got two of these beasts and all I can say is, they are perfect. The shape of the cab windows (the face) is perfect and so much better than previous incarnations of the 50. The provision of an inbuilt stay alive is a monumental move in the right direction. My one gripe is the fan on DCC (non sound) seems to rotate at 3500rpm and I'd dearly love to know how to slow it down.
Otherwise this loco is perfection on wheels

50021 'Rodney'

Loco arrived well packaged with new additional card board packing to the ends of the main loco presentation box.
Unfortunately this was still not sufficient to prevent damage to some of the small detail items. I found two sets of front steps, from the same side of the loco, loose in the clam shell packaging. This is disappointing but not worth moaning about as they can easily be refitted with a little glue when I take the body off to fit the crew.
The loco generally is amazing - the paint finish is superb and the livery striking which is why I bought this version.
The loco is currently 'running-in' in an attempt to try and eradicate a slight stiffness when running in one direction. Hopefully the mechanism will loosen up soon as I do not really want to have to return it.
