- Die-cast metal chassis with plastic body
- 60g Weight per Wagon
- Scale length of 70mm over headstocks
- Wheelbase of 40mm, allowing operation over a minimum radius of 371mm (Radius 1 Set-Track)
- Three styles of wheel design; Split spoke, single spoke and 3-hole disc
- RP25.110 chemically blackened OO gauge wheel sets
- Blackened brass bearings conforming to accurascale standards of 14.4mm back-to-back on 2mm axles over 26mm pinpoints.
- Eroded metal, plastic and wire detail parts, including, but not limited to, handrails, grab handles, door handles, lamp brackets, vacuum and steam pipes, though pipes, steam heating cock and break gear.

I purchased this pack in a bundle with a P Class engine. Initially I thought these wagons a little over-priced. However the bundle was good value. So pleased with this purchase I now have purchased two more packs of banana vans in BR brown.
these are a nice addition, great finish, good detail.i would say they are on a par with others, no better
Having purchased a set of the banana vans in early SR colours, I have now added the alternative numbered set to my fleet. These are to the same high quality and are superb.
I am not a Southern Railway modeller but I could not resist these superb vans. Need an excuse to use them on my railway but it is a shame to let them get dusty on the layout. You have once again excelled.
I have purchased quite a few of the various banana van packs, ranging from pre 1936 to 1961. They have all been excellent models, accurately catering for both wagon and livery variations during that period. They have all been packaged beautifully, and packed for despatch with equal care. Delivery has always been prompt and well communicated. The whole experience, including the quality of the models, is first class! 11 out of 10 Accurascale!
