Just arrived yesterday and look really good going around and detail is superb. Definitely buy them if the chance comes up.
Superb and a most welcome addition to my Colas fleet of locomotives.
Yet another spectacular model depicting a welcome but sadly "short lived" livery. Looks brilliant when coupled with Accurascale's matching coal hoppers. Brings back memories of sighting the real thing transiting to Ratcliffe-on-Trent power station.
These characterful wagons are a must for anyone modelling Irish rail
in the 1970’s.
The only downside is the lack of sprung buffers.
There are plenty of 66s out there from bargain basement to super-detailed. As usual, Accurascale have provided modellers with a loco that is the gold standard for those wanting the class in 1/76th scale at a price that beats those coming anywhere near in terms of features, finesse and finish. What more could you ask for?
Well what can one say other than the "Second Batch" of Class 66's continue to demonstrate the absolute dedication of all at Accurascale in producing truly "high quality" products; #66793 GB Railfreight being no exception. The overall finish in triple grey livery with reminiscent TLCon decals brings back many happy memories and looks the part when hauling a hefty rake of modern day of Aggregate Hopper Wagons - most definitely 10/10 and 5✴️
Literally when I'd given up hope of acquiring a third example Accurascale came up trumps in notifying that a limited number had become available (#9741). Having now one each of Class 57xx, 67xx and 8750 variants has proven to be money well spent - they are all simply outstanding and would look well placed on a "Heritage themed preservation line layout" based on several visits back home to Cornwall visiting family. Such detail, finish and performance have inspired me to pre-order a couple of the forthcoming GWR Class 78xx "Manor" 4-6-0 Steam Locomotives.
A im actually looking forward to getting this set a light weathering to further enhance the appearance of these wagons and bring an extra bit of railway realism to the model collection.
absolutely beautiful model, neven the pipes leading to the injectors from the top feed afe beautifully modelled.
A simple livery but one of my favourites. The Class 66 model is one of the best delivered to the market. The fit and finish is first class.
This is a lovely model, runs really well has great haulage capacity. The detail is superb, the paintwork and printing detail is sublime. Another quality product from Accurascale.
Just about to set up a ‘78-‘89 layout . As this livery fell just inside my upper limit (& my limit of interest- preferring a hard working dirty blue) I decided not to indulge numerous times….
Beautiful loco. Ran perfectly straight out the box
Been waiting since mid 2024 for these stunning wagons. Well worth the wait. The presentation box is well designed and adds to the theme of the wagons. The detail is incredible and it’s what we are used to when purchasing from Accurascale. Congratulations on another success
