This is my 2nd one! An absolutely wonderful model. Super fine detail outside and in (that you can't really see). This 9681 is the non-sound version and it runs exceptionally smooth and quiet. I was lucky enough to get the LT version with sound and that's just on a another level!! I'M LOVIN' IT

So I thought I would just try again these are fantastic models I couldn't have asked for better the paintwork to build quality the running everything you expect from accurascale
The amount of detail in the box art is just beautiful. I'm really, really happy with these models and could honestly recommend them to anyone who even just likes Garfield and wants a striking display piece, which is probably what I might do with mine. I know some people might think that's a bit daft, but that's just what I want to do. I'm really happy and couldn't ask for more.
Have many the same, sent back this one not running right and buzzing sound, returned still with buzzing sound. Might have to adjust sound cv. Still a very nice model,
Good product support
Nice packaging. Also really like magnet attached roof to J67 to allow easy placement of the crew. Perfectly designed with hand positions to look like the crew are holding handrails or on handles to drive the loco.
Excellent tool to have for the layout - I found it works really well for other brands of magnet lights - especially the Hornby magnet light system - even better than their supplied magnet. Well-done Accurascale.
These stack of kegs look excellent in the goods shed. Ready to roll out to pubs all over the layout.
Now sitting in my Colas class 66. Easy to fit and allows me full implementation of all non-sound features.
A new star i born! This little beauty is all I hoped for, it lives up to all the earlier reviews and has justified my decision to have one for myself. It even barks like the little terrier-like beast it is. Small, good looking and feisty! Out of sheer curiosity, I ran it without sound. It is truly silent!

Another stunning model visually of an Iconic type. The inclusion of a coreless motor here was the correct decision and enables smooth running for a beautiful model. Having a preserved example in model form is a bonus, the only minor criticism is that the tampos for the running numbers on one side is quite skewed, alongside a bit of a glue mark down the cab door which is a bit unsightly. These minor issues aside, its a fantastic model though. 👌
Makes all the difference
This is the GWR pannier I have been waiting for - I very tidy model indeed. I'm pleased that I bought three before they sold out. The build quality and level of detail follows in the tradition that we have come to expect of Accurascale models.
For Accurascales first steam loco, I was very impressed by the detail, sound functions and the finish of the livery, as well as the smooth running. The only minor mark against it I think, is the speaker setup was somewhat lacking. Comparing it to my J68 with factory sound, which has a very crisp and beefy chuff with quite a loud volume out of the box. The manor by comparison is very clear and crisp, but seemed to have less bass in the chuff and the maximum volume is fairly quiet by comparison, which made some of the details in the sound file harder to hear. Still a darn good model overall.
