92043 – ‘Debussy’

I thought twice about adding electric traction (im a diesel man myself!) to my layout but I’m glad I did!

What an excellent model, completely deserved to win gold in the awards! The sound, the lights and of course the pantographs work so well!

I liked it but I have only tried it once what i really noticed is how smooth it run's I didn't try all of the functions

Wow!! Fantastic paintwork finish and what a brilliant hauler! Can handle any train length I can throw at it and runs so smoothly across all of my pointwork which is extensive! Brings back happy holiday memories of my first sighting of the real thing in France!

Amazing packaging to start with. Loco came in perfect conditon.

Runs very smooth and quietly. Livery and details applied professionally & cleanly.

The sound file and speakers are amazing. The quality and bass is spot on! A must have if you are into DCC Sound for sure. + the working pantagraphs are such a cool feature really ties the model together.

A great runner with some stunning details. This has been my first locomotive from Accurascale and has already made me want to get more of their range.

What more of an accolade can one say about this truly outstanding model when this is my twelfth purchase!! With this level of dedication and quality of product it's no surprise that this manufacturer has been credited which such praise by fellow modellers and collector's.

This was my first purchase from Accurascale and I was very impressed. Order and delivery were efficient , presentation was immaculate and spoke strongly of quality. The modelling of the locomotive was stunning in terms of detail and the performance was everything you would expect of current model manufacture. Some small parts are incredibly delicate (such as pantograph slides) for an elderly modeller lacking a little dexterity, but that can be forgiven given the end result. In this review I am comparing with my purchases from other well known manufacturers of model railways. Could not be better pleased.! Matthew Ridgeon

This is a wonderful model of a class 92 locomotive. The level of detail is extremely high all over, but especially on the roof equipment, the bogies, the end equipment and inside the driving cabs. I bought a sound equipped version and the sound is hugely impressive with a large number of functions. Headlights can be configured for day and night running, the upper headlight can be on or off, and the tail lights can be switched off when pulling a train. Innovative features include auto dimming of the cab lights as the loco moves off and the ability to choose which of the 2 pantographs is raised. The loco ran smoothly out of the box and easily pulls my set of 14 intermodal wagons. All in all, an outstanding model from Accurascale.

You don’t need to be a genius to work out that these Class 92s will probably be model of the year, unless they’re up against another Accurascale loco - tough fight! The entire fleet is a credit to Accurascale and the variety of liveries and numbers is breathtaking considering Bachmann & Hornby would take decades to ship out the quantities AS have done in one go, this is what the modeller wants and we’ve finally been heard!

From first glimpse of the smart black box to the ‘paperwork’ inside through to the crisp application of the livery, warning symbols and below sole bar & roof details; everything is spot on.

You can see quality, dedication and passion in it all. I’ve yet to run the 92043, but I know I won’t be disappointed!
