Absolutely wonderful Manors

The Cambrian Coast line in the early 1960s is a cherished childhood memory, so I've bought all three BR late crest models. They are marvellous models, correctly proportioned and beautifully detailed, and they all run really well. Many thanks

7800 (Torquay Manor)

This model is the second 'Manor' Class Locomotive I have purchased from Accurascale. The packaging of the model was very good and the robust box in which it was supplied, ensured that the model arrived undamaged. I was very impressed with this particular livery, ie BR Lined Green. The information booklet supplied with the model was very interesting, since it described the history of the Manor Class. Overall, a very detailed model that has been produced a a very competitive price.

Torquay Manor Loco

Looks great, livery is expertly finished. As I have only had it a few days I can't give a definitive view on running capabilities but so far all seems good. Lovely loco very pleased with purchase.

My 3rd Manor ordered as I'm so impressed by these models. The weight, pulling power and detail is second to none and really sets a high bar for modern models. Ball is in your court rival manufacturers to match these!

The New Benchmark

This was my second Accurascale purchase and my first locomotive. Having already purchased a couple of Siphons and been impressed I was expecting big things from the manor. Even so it surpassed my expectations. It ran faultlessly as a slow crawl straight out of the box. The pre fitted stay alive meant that it glided across pointwork even without the frogs energised. The model captures the look of the prototype perfectly. The weight is superb, it really has the feel of the inertia of a real locomotive.

Another fantastic model from Accurascale

The first steam locomotive model released by Accurascale and , yet again, another fantastic model. Now I'm looking forward to the arrival of the J67/J68/J69 locomotives especially as my grandfather worked on some of these locos at Lowestoft Shed and I saw the Liverpool Street Shed Pet on my frequent visits to Liverpool Street Station.

Going back to the Manor I was a little surprised at how quiet the sound volume is, you can hear it but it would be great if it had a bit more umpf to it.
