Repintado en el controvertido esquema general de pintura gris en mayo de 1990, como la mayoría de las locomotoras para obtener esta librea, la 37258 la cambió rápidamente por la variante 'holandesa', siendo superada con la banda amarilla de la parte superior de la carrocería en septiembre de 1991, y también recibió una faro de alta visibilidad, flechas dobles fundidas y placas de depósito de Cardiff Canton al mismo tiempo.
