Lovely realistic looking models

I was very pleased with this little novelty. This is the first time I have purchased a crew for any of my locos. When I saw that the printing process is now in full colour, I thought I’d give them a try. I am not disappointed, the colour is quite noticeable through the cab window, and the second man is realistically reclining with his feet on the desk. Well done accurascale. Now what about those 37’s?

In my opinion these Class 66 figures are the best yet from Accurascale. There’s definitely been a vast improvement in the quality of the figures since Accurascale first released crew figures. I’m sure this is down to improvements in the manufacturing process. Colours are now much more rich and don’t necessarily require additional painting. ‘Lazy Bob’ is my favourite and when he joined my fleet he very quickly settled himself into his duties catching a few 💤

Having purchased my Accurascale Class 66 I couldn’t resist purchasing the crew. Colours were good so no need to paint all those fiddly bits. Biddy removal was simple however can removal needed a bit of thought. After a few internet searches problem solved. Crew fitted well. I used a little black tac instead of glue. Can was relocated with a couple of satisfying clicks. All in all a good addition.

Do like these figures; very well detailed. I found them easy to fit. They look very good through the windows of the cab. Wish they were available in bigger multiple sets with different positions for my other locos.
