This is my first Accurascale model, and I must say it wonβt be my last. From the packaging, which in itself lets you know thereβs something special inside, to the model itself, it all oozes quality. The detail is superb, and the added sound makes all the difference. I have a class 50 on pre-order, and I canβt wait to receive it.

Really good sound - did need turning down a bit as I found it too loud out of the box.
Stay-alive is a very useful addition.
Only slight negative is a bit of motor hum which is likely to be back emf signals.

The Accurascale Class 31418 in BR Blue is very impressive. From the moment you lift it from the box itβs clear that this model sets a new benchmark for quality, accuracy and attention to detail. Performance is equally impressive; especially the DCC sound version, which sounds just like the prototype. Well-done Accurascale. I agree with other reviewers that youβre one of the most exciting manufacturers in the hobby today, continually raising the bar with everything you do at a competitive price. Highly recommended!
