Rhif 31105 oedd y trydydd o Ddosbarthiadau 31 Network Rail i ddychwelyd i draffig a’r unig hen locomotif â chod pen disg yn y fflyd, er y gellid dod o hyd iddo’n aml mewn partneriaeth â Howard Johnston’s wedi’i logi yn Fragonset, yn ddiweddarach BR â lifrai glas, ‘skinhead’ Rhif 31106 ar drenau prawf. Dewiswyd yr hen D5523, a oedd yn newydd i Stratford ym mis Mawrth 1959 ac a dynnwyd yn ôl o Bescot ym mis Mai 1997, yn 2002 i'w haileni ym mhwll QADD NR ynghyd â Rhif 31107.
Tra syrthiodd yr olaf ar fin y ffordd, rhyddhawyd Rhif 31105 o Derby yn felyn ym mis Awst 2004, y tu allan bron yn ddigyfnewid o'i gyflwr blaenorol, gan gadw hyd yn oed yr haearn lamp ychwanegol ar ei ddrysau trwyn platiog. Fodd bynnag, erbyn ail hanner 2005, roedd Derby wedi manteisio ar y cyfle i dynnu gorchudd awyrell to caban o do cab pen Rhif 1 i gyd-fynd â phen Rhif 2 a ailadeiladwyd yn gynnar yn 1984.
Tra ar ddiwedd 2007, addaswyd y pennau blaen ymhellach gyda'r un goleuadau cynffon LED a'r addasiadau jet golchwr a ddisgrifir uchod gyda Rhif 31285.Fodd bynnag, daw popeth da i ben a thynnwyd Rhif 31105 yn ôl am yr eildro ym mis Chwefror 2015, gan adael dim ond Rhif 31233 yn dal i fod yn weithredol ar gyfer NR.
Er ei fod yn dal i weithio, roedd yn cael ei ddefnyddio o bryd i'w gilydd fel siynter ar safle'r GTFf cyn cael ei werthu i gadwraeth ar Reilffordd Mangapps yn Essex ym mis Hydref 2018.

Striking livery that really stands out among my other locos. The sounds are superb and the moving fan adds to the realism. Just need some NR rollingstock to complete the set!
Stunningly good model and I’m more than happy with this Network Rail Class 31 #31105. From the bright and distinctive artwork on the presentation box to the clear and sharp livery applied to the model is absolutely top shelf. Additionally, the small details that set Accurascale apart from the competition have been extremely well executed and applied.
Then there is the sound. Wow! The cold engine start brings the model to life and fills my layout room. In motion, the sound is equally impressive and I can imagine I will have a few more “maintenance” trains running around from now on.
In conclusion, the model oozes detail and sound that has truly exceeded my expectations and I'm glad I added this to my roster.

Simple ,outstanding in every area , usual high standards of sound and smooth running ,turn sound off and a very quiet motor. Box art is absolutely gorgeous, one again thanks Accurascale, another winner ,cheers Nick.
Absolutely loving my Accurascale Class 31 loco in Network Rail livery. I cannot describe it other than simply superb, and it is a fantastic addition to my growing collection. Well done Accurascale for yet another excellent model of the real thing.

A classic iconic skin head Class 31/0, Product excellence, body colour application 1st Class along with accurate decoration. Sound range is very well captured, Accurascale have nailed it again.
