Ail-baentiwyd yn y cynllun paent llwyd cyffredinol dadleuol ym mis Mai 1990, fel y mwyafrif o locomotifau i ennill y lifrai hwn 37258 yn gyflym cyfnewidiodd am yr amrywiad 'Iseldiraidd', gan fynd yn fwy na'r band melyn corff uchaf ym mis Medi 1991, hefyd yn derbyn a prif oleuadau gwelededd uchel, saethau dwbl wedi'u bwrw a phlaciau depo Treganna Caerdydd ar yr un pryd. Mae nodweddion sbotio nodedig eraill yn cynnwys bogies cast a Western Region a heyrn lamp safonol. Er ei fod yn gwisgo lliwiau adran y peiriannydd sifil, gwelodd y locomotif ddefnydd rheolaidd o nwyddau yn ogystal â dirprwyo ar wasanaethau dyddiedig haf Caerdydd-Bryste Temple Meads-Weymouth a threnau teithwyr i Ŵyl Glastonbury trwy gydol y 1990au. Collodd ei gyfrifon cast ym 1997 a chafodd ei ail-rifo fel 38384 y flwyddyn ganlynol ar ôl cael ei pedoli â set o gors CP7 wedi'u hail-osod. Cafodd ei storio yn y pen draw ym 1999, yn dal mewn lliwiau 'Iseldiraidd'.

Separately applied etched metal and high fidelity plastic detail parts, including grab handles, aerials, steps, wipers, nameplates, crests and more.

Bogies feature separate footsteps, etched footsteps, brake cylinders, speed recorder, end brake rigging and very fine brake chain

RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels with fine scale ‘drop in’ EM (18.2mm gauge) and P4 (18.83mm gauge) wheels available separately
