                Best OO Gauge Class 37

A real game changer of a OO gauge locomotive. The level of detail is next level, and the fact that the tooling covers so many individual locomotive modifications made to the class over the years is incredible. The sound quality is superb as is the build quality. Another top quality release from Accurascale.

                The DRS ugly duckling, 37606

This is my 5th accurasce 37 but the most unique of the lot.
The never previously released 37/6 is well captured and the clean lines of the nose end and WIPAC lights are represented excellently.
The level of detail on the model is exquisite yet it can still negotiate R2 curves. Despite earlier concerns with the chains on the Deltic bogies, these 37's have no issue here even on tight curves.
This is a great model from the factory but with a little bit of weathering, it is brought to life. The sound set up is fantastic with accurate sound recordings for both refurbished and unrefurbished 37's. The Suttons 24 was streets ahead with their factory fitted sound off the shelf but this product easily matches that! The main competitors fall short when it comes to factory fitted sound, but accurascale have nailed these in every way. I'm still a bit unsure about the height of the roof panels around the exhaust ports, but the rest of this product is superb whether you are looking at underframe details, the cab interiors or the general appearance as a whole.
The detailing pack couldn't be easier to fit and the design of a snowplough that can be fitted allowing a tension lock coupling is innovative.
This product allows you to fully detail the front ends with all of the pipes and still operate the loco with a tension lock coupling.
Access to the decoder couldn't be made easier.
I strictly model 1995 - 2000, but these models are that good, I have purchased 4 of the modernised DRS 37's.
An all round excellent product and a must buy for anyone who wants a super detailed 37.

Over the moon with the purchase. I had waited patiently watching all the reviews about the class 37 and wondered if I would ever see mine. I had ordered two in DRS livery and when they arrived I was blown away. The finish is lovely the paintwork just right and when lined up together the really look the part. I put the loco on the test track and the train ran smoothly and quietly. I then ran them with the sound and it was fantastic. All in all it is a great purchase and although frustrating well worth the wait for this quality of locomotive. I have another class 37 on order in a different livery along with other locos from Accurascale and I am confident that I will get a quality model at a quality price

                Simply The Best - Again

Another absolutely stunning model, again totally silent running until you turn the sound on then it is like you are with a real live 37 - almost unbelievable. The detail and finish far surpasses any other non Accurascale model. Brilliant!

                Belter!

This was a long awaited model I have been looking forward to and it was worth the wait! Apart from being full of detail and having the livery applied immaculately I was very impressed by its running which straight out the box was very smooth and faultless. Even better was it’s multiple running characteristics which when worked with a fellow Accurascale 37 worked without and issue and keeping the same distance apart not tugging on one another, very impressed!

                Stunning!

What’s not to like, another impressive model. The issue will be working out which Accurascale loco to vote for in the model of the year vote.
