The Purple Deltic

Absolutely stunning, love the livery and all of the super details that adorn these mighty fine machines in miniature, excellent model!!!

Gordon Highlander

Very impressed with the model. Looks absolutely incredible and as others have mentioned is a hefty beast which bodes well for when I can run it properly (my layout isn’t running down to alterations). Well worth the wait and for the price nothing short of amazing.

Absolutely no problems with the sound vibration. Small step broken, otherwise magnificent model, with pulling power. Chains would be better placed on the chassis for cornering.

Deltic Delight

This model was eagerly awaited as I thought I had missed out on it originally. I was delighted when the factory was able to increase production and I promptly got my order in. Definitely worth the wait and the detail is so fine and right down to the smallest components, particularly on the bogies. My model, when first removed from the box, was very slightly damaged as one of the bogie to body chains had become detached from the body, but I have read elsewhere that someone else had reported this problem. Because the details are so fine and the sometimes rough handling the models receive in transit It is hardly surprising. The model ran well on first test and the paint finish is exemplary. I have yet to run it in more thoroughly and have not tested its hauling capacity but am confident there will be no issues. As a fan of experimental liveries I opted for the purple and grey Porterbrook colour scheme but I am evidently not alone as this was, I think, one of the first models to sell out! All in all a superb and very heavy model well worth the wait.

Wipac Lights

Love the wipac lighting that Accurascale have fitted to the Gordon Highlander. Day night switching all works as it should and the yard lights which is outer marker lights on only brilliant. Not too bright but subtle. Hope this is an indicator of what we might see when the Class 37's arrive later this year

I have examined the loco and found the bogie chains disconnected, however the rest of the loco is stunning even though I have not had an opportunity to run her on my layout.

D9016 Gordon Highlander

Amazing quality despite a few little repair jobs on brake chains. The purple box is a real gem and there is no doubting what is inside. My son and I also have one of the Rails Of Sheffield specials and all are equally great models and runners. Well done.

Deltic - Gordon Highlander

The packaging is excellent. The model is notably heavy, which bodes well for hauling power. The livery and detail is the best I have seen in OO. Great model.
