Marco Polo

With stocks of these rapidly dwindling I grabbed the DB liveried pair. As the extent of my scale catenary so far is a 12 foot test track, this does make running the 92s a tad restrictive, and I'm not going to add third rail to the layout simply to run the early ones. I've heard the arguments about the over scale pantograph heads, and yes I accept they don't sit quite right when retracted, but watching the pan moving up and down slightly as it follows the OLE is just stunning. No surprise whatsoever that most are already out of stock, and I'm just hoping that there are some that have been kept back for warranty et cetera that, as with the Deltics, Accurascale will release in due course so that I can grab one that I missed.

Silk and not Satin.

What can one say after the superb model Deltic arrivals from Accurascale? Now we have the amazing working pantographed Class 92. These model locomotives are wonderful in all aspects of the real thing. I am totally bowled over by the details, printing, and packaging of an excellent 00 Scale RTR engine by Accura. It is that simple, without going over the top, these are pure Silk compared to any Satin rolling stock from other manufacturers.

Class 92 Marco Polo

I just received it here in Arizona and it’s going to be the model that brings me back into UK outline. I was just about to sell off all my OO scale stuff and go strictly to HO USA outline based on price and quality. However I’m still going to sell MOST of my OO stuff and buy exclusively Accurail equipment because of the outstanding quality and the very competitive pricing which doesn’t seem to be the current pattern unfortunately. I’ll be reaching out for freight cars and magnet couplers next order. I’m modeling Settle Carlisle so I can run the 92 in Carlisle. Good luck Accurail. Paul.

Marco is a polo

I received my Marco Polo loco nearly at the front of the queue so I was very happy with that as I ordered it way back in 2020
Upon opening the very well packed loco I could see and feel the quality straight away
The attention to detail is fantastic and about the best I have ever seen
I loved playing with the pantographs up and down motor driven ,I have had to disable mine as they kept hitting my station roofs but great that you can do that
The range of sounds and lighting effects are superb and make this loco one of the best ever produced ready made
Love it that much that I bought three.

So pleased with this good quality locomotive from Accurascale

Well done Accurascale for producing another high quality product with good pulling power with lots of features such as good paintwork, highly detailed product, good sound quality and adjustable pantograpgh. It is miles ahead of the similar locomotive I bought many years ago.
