Class 66 - Freightliner Orange - 66415

Class 66 no 66 415 in Freightliner orange livery with black striping. Named ‘You Are Never Alone’ at Ipswich Station in November 2019, the real 66 415 was dedicated through a collaborative effort between Freightliner, Greater Anglia and Samaritans to pay tribute and to raise awareness of the invaluable work the Samaritans do to help prevent suicide across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Accurasale will donate £10,000 of proceeds from sales of this model to Samaritans. Samaritans is a registered charity in England and Wales (charity number 219432) and in Scotland (charity number SC040604).

Highly detailed OO scale model, 1:76.2 scale

  • Minimum Radius 438mm (2nd Radius Set-track)

Class 66 You are not alone

This was an impulse purchase. Never really wanted a 66, but the charity donation swung the deal.

It is a really impressive locomotive and the packaging as always was beyond belief.

There were a couple of issues getting it to Nova Scotia but Patrick and team were helpfulness itself and it was well worth the wait.

Another winner

Having had this for a few weeks, and having a few issues fitting the Hornby DCC chip, I finally got it all up and running. The model
Is stunning, but the detailing on the underside of the body is fragile and sadly one of the pipes came off when I removed the body. But other then that a great model! I have 2 other Accurascale trains 37419 and 37043. I’ve just taken delivery of the EWS MHA wagons too. All absolutely stunning!!! I’ve only been in the hobby for 12 months but can’t wait to get the Pannier tank (my first loco I had when I was 6)

Outstanding model

Superbly detailed model. Excellent livery and application. Heavy model giving good traction and real presence. Very good performance including a crawl on DC/analogue. Really like the fully fitted buffer beams in the accessory bag, as options. Nice etched name plates. Overall an outstanding model, also supporting a worthy cause.

What a really nice model. The printing is well applied, as always details are great and the model supporting a very worthwhile charity made this a model I wanted in my collection.

Delivery was disapointing,10 days after payment & the packing was not 100%

My model is still lovingly wrapped up and bound in its inner packaging. Haven't had the heart to unbox it- as yet. A hidden gem you might say.

Super sixty six!

I don’t model modern image but just had to buy one of these. It is a tremendous model at a very reasonable price. Great support for the Samaritans too. I love the lifetime guarantee which gives you confidence that the model is going to last. When Bachmann and Airfix came into the industry in the mid ‘70’s they had an immediate and transformational impact on the hobby. Accurascale is doing that again now! Bring it on Accurascale - I can’t wait for your next loco announcement!!!!!
