La tercera clase 66 que aterrizó en suelo británico en 1998, 66004 recibió su llamativa librea 'Climate Hero' durante 2021 como parte de un programa para promover el transporte de mercancías por ferrocarril por parte de los propietarios DB. El 66004 real funciona con una dieta de aceite vegetal hidrogenado, a la altura de sus credenciales de 'héroe climático'.

Highly detailed OO scale model, 1:76.2 scale

  • Minimum Radius 438mm (2nd Radius Set-track)
  • Die-cast metal chassis.
  • RP25-110 profile OO wheels
  • Separately applied etched metal/plastic detail parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, etc.
  • Scale width wire handrails
  • Full underframe tank detail with brackets and pipework
  • Fully sprung buffers, factory-fitted pipework and screw couplings (for display)
  • Dummy knuckle couplers fitted where relevant
  • Kinetic NEM coupler mounts at correct height and mini-tension-lock couplers
  • “Easi-mag” lift off roof panel to access the decoder and DC light switches

Another 66!

This is my 4th Accurascale class 66! All have been received in perfect order. A superb model in every respect. Looking forward to the next production run. Will no doubt treat myself to another!

Stunning Loco. Not a thing out of place, runs like silk. Full independent lighting even on a basic Lais decoder. Well done guys (again).

'Modellers' Hero

Another loco by Accurascale reaching the very top end of quality models. The livery, the detail and also the inclusion of the front end already detailed makes this another great model and certainly pulls away from any other class 66 locomotives on the market. Great job AS keep them coming.

As soon as this was released i know i had to get one and it certainty doesn't disappoint a step up from the Hatton's original release. For me Accurascale have made a massive improvement on this model overall from the decoration to the assembly all i can say it is one of the best members of the fleet.

Love the livery !
Not one that I was familiar with tbh and it could have gone so wrong !
The lines are crisp right down to the finest detail and as for the loco
itself it is probably Accurascales best yet !

Making the others Green with envy

Another Gem from Accurascale. Beautiful locomotive, runs lovely out of the box. All the usual features that we get for an excellent price delived to your door.
I've more sheds in my attic than the whole street have in their yards. 5 stars all the way.

The Green Machine

The green machine is an usual livery, a one off, and a stand out product, The best ever Class 66 model to be made, a lot of credit has to be given to Hattons but the improvements made to the original make this one of the leading models on the market today, the fit, finish, detail and running qualities are excellent.

Smooth runner straight from the box. Like that there are no cab lights when running DC. Easy to fit detailed deflector.
