9021 Argyll and Sutherland Highlander

The one I ordered wasn’t in the warehouse and I received Crepello after negotiations. Beautiful model. The detail is amazing.

You weren’t able to supply me with 9021 Argyll and Sutherland Highlander as ordered but substituted it with 5012 Crepello instead. ( with my permission). The model is superb and represents great value for money. There was a big gap between ordering and dispatch due to delays with Locksound. Perhaps the occasional message to say you hadn’t forgotten about me would have been appreciated. But overall very happy to purchase from you again.

This is a fabulously detailed model, and it runs beautifully! Even the box and packing is excellent! Includes a pack of extra parts for detailing and a huge choice of alternative headcodes, as well as a nice little booklet with a history of the Deltics. Accurascale are definitely going one step further than other manufacturers, but still keeping prices at exceptional value for money. I did have a bit of hassle ordering this model but Customer Services were very good in their response and in the end I have the model I wanted and I am a happy customer!!

Another top model, heavy weight chassis for solid performance on any train. Highly detailed and well finished

Looks and sounds brilliant

An excellent model and delivery to the other side of the world was done quickly and without fuss. The detailing and sound are very good, especially for the price. Even more importantly IMHO the loco performs very well - nice and responsive, and this will be further enhanced with a some judicious CV tweaks to the DCC chip. The 'stay alive' feature is also a big plus. It’s great that Accurascale also provide etched names plates and extra head codes (some of which might also be suitable for other locos in your fleet). There’s room to improve how the bogie chains are attached, but other than that, I am really pleased with this model. While I only really need one Deltic, it will be interesting to look out for if/when there is a new run of these locos - might succumb to temptation!

Quick delivery and a well detailed model, a couple of tiny and i mean tiny black bits were loose in the box, no idea were they belong, but to be honest the locomotive looks great and runs well. I would buy from the company again

For the price this locomotive to me seems good value. The price is comparable to other manufacturers with sound but with much less detail than Accurascale’s locomotive. Coupler will pull out before reaching full pulling capacity but you would nearly have to be pulling a brick.

Absolutely nicely detailed locomotive which had unfortunately some imperfections like a broken off air horn and water tap underneath.
However the after care of Accurascale is also as terrific as the locomotive.
Accurascale allowed me to send it back to their Warranty department in Darlington to get these issues fixed and gave me a 55 pound giftcard for the postage from Australia !
I have no doubt that the Deltic will be returned to me without any imperfections !
Imperfections may come as a result of far going detailing ............
How it runs and sounds has still to be seen when I get it back but I have good faith it will be allright
